Greco-Roman Design
One of the main events that the art department at TN Tech hosts is the annual Bacchanal auction of art and craft. Each year, students get to design the event collateral, and mine was chosen for the 2024 event. I wanted to go back to the roots of Bacchanal-- an ancient roman festival honoring the wine god Bacchus. I used greco-roman motifs and visuals to create a muse/ Bacchae figure in a linocut block print style to reference the physical media art being sold. I stuck with a monochromatic color scheme with earthy greens that stood out from previous years' designs. It was an honor to design every piece of collateral for such a large event.
